The gentleman bastard sequence, amazing descriptions, beautifully built universe, entertaining dialogue and unpredictable twists in the plot. Book 4 comes out this year I think, 7 books in the series with plans for another 7 book sequel series plus side stories. 
Set in a universe based on renaissance Italy with fantasy elements.

The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas is amazing! I would also recommend An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir and the Rylee Adamson novels by Shannon Mayer and Angelfall by Susan Ee.

I love the Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck and Vanity Fair by I forgot the author. There both good books and I would recommend to read them.

Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward. Romance novels about the lives of sexy badass elite vampires who have to protect the whole race. Lots of amazing sex scenes, love scenes, action scenes, and ligit good story lines for each character. 
The same author also has the Bourbon King series. Novels about a rich family of bourbon makers set in the present day time period. Drama and love and mystery.
