Who did you have in the delivery room?

So this is my hubby & I's second baby. With our first we had my mom in the delivery room & I love her to death but she irritated me 😂 She kept touching me & trying to hug & kiss me & I was not having it at all. Also my mom doesn't know when to relax she always has to be doing something. So this time I told her it would only be hubby & I. But thinking about it I want a third person in there so they can take pictures after our son is born. We don't have any pictures of the three of us with my first son. I don't want to miss out on those first few moments. Who did you ladies have in the delivery room?

This is my first child. In Ireland we are only allowed one person in the room. They're very strict, so only my partner will be with me! I think it's probably for the best anyways too many people would be way too stressful, and it's a nice to have that special moment just for the two of us :)

Having my first next month and it'll just be me and my partner. Everyone else can come visit afterwards :)

My husband and my sister. She is an er nurse so she is my back up set of eyes, plus the photographer. The original photographer we were going to use is due 1 week before me with twins!

With my first two we had our moms and sister, the last one and this baby will be just hubby & I.

My first I had my hubby and my mom, second time my hubby and his mother and this time we are going alone. I don't have anyone else to ask to go with us as my mom will be watching our older two and his mom lives 3000 miles away.

My husband, his mom, my mom, and my aunt. I had 3 people last time. They were not controlling and only held the baby when told to. This time I do want more bonding time but I think they'll understand.

I had my SO and my SIL because she is a doula. She also took pictures for us

I will be induced next month. The hospital has small rooms, so we can only have two people per room. My husband and my mom will be there. If it ends up in a C-section, only my husband will be allowed.

My first I had my husband, my mom and my sister in law. My mom was way controlling and tried to control  everything that happened. She freaked out instead of staying calm when my son's heart rate dropped and since my back was turned from the monitor she refused to tell me what his heart rate was and instead just looked like a panicked mess which didn't help at all. Then as soon as he was born she made me feel like I needed to hurry and pass him to her. So with my second I just had my husband and his sister. Things were so much more calm and relaxed. The experience was way better. Except when my mom arrived at the hospital during active labor and tried to push her way into the delivery room. Luckily my daughter was just born and handed to me. She did however grab my baby shortly after coming in because she felt she had the right to be the first to hold her. My husband and I had no time for bonding with the first two babies. So this time my sister and my husbands sister will be the only two who will even know I'm at the hospital. I'll just have my husband in the room and when I'm ready for visitors I'll call them from the recovery room.
