would you be annoyed??

Question

So my boyfriend goes to a different university than I do but both our semesters end the same time. The other day he was telling me that him, his best friend, and his best friends gf were all going to go on a little vacation together when their school got out for summer.  He didn't even ask me To go with them even if I would've said no. I'm kind of annoyed by it but not annoyed enough to start an argument. I just feel like since we've been together for a while it would have been nice if he was like "even though I know you won't want to go, would you wanna to come with?" Am I just being dumb or would any other girls be slightly annoyed by your bf not even asking to go with?

As someone who deals with a partner who never wants to come out with you, and hang out with your friends - I totally see it where he's coming from.

What's the point in asking you if he already knows the answer? What's the point in getting excited over the odd chance that you might say yes when he already knows you're gonna say no? Might as well forget about you entirely and just say you're going out with friends. If you wanted to go, you could always ask.

Otherwise, yes. You're getting angry over something stupid and you need to see it from his perspective.

A similar thing happened to me and my bf in college. We both graduated (stayed together long distance for four + years) and he wanted to remain at college during summer to be with his buddies. I thought the first thing he'd want to do was come straight back home so we could be together... It didn't cross his mind that this choice would be hurtful to me; it was a real wake-up call on our relationship. Looking back he was clueless. Being hurt in that situation is so valid. Hang in there!!

Why wouldnt he invite you??? Thats way too weird. Maybe boys only trip but the other gf going too.....??
