When did you have you first alcohol bev. after birth?

Total curiosity! Just introduced my son to a (breastmilk) bottle and it hit me I can have a beer 😍
(Ladies, if you don't drink, with all due respect, this question isn't for you. It's for my fellow boozehounds haha. Hey, if you're able to abstain for nine and a half months, no one can call you an alcoholic!!)

1 day after my daughter was born. My friend came to visit me in the hospital and brought a bottle of champagne, so I had 1 mimosas to celebrate the birth.

maybe a month I think 🤔 and you can drink while breastfeeding, if you're ok to drive you're ok to breastfeed.

I had a beer like three days after my daughter was born. I fed her first and got her to sleep and treated myself 😝

My daughter is three weeks and that bottle of wheat beer in the fridge is starting to look very tempting indeed. Will probably have it soon. I'm German, so a nice beer with a meal is basically considered a human right :-)

3 days. He was born right before Valentine's Day and I had a couple drinks with my hubby for v day

2 1/2 months and I'm even formula feeding.  I was so exhausted before then that drinking did not sound appealing to me. And I had this irrational fear that even if I only had one drink that I would be too inebriated to care for him. Well I got over that and had a drink:)

My little one was two weeks old, almost 3 weeks. Honestly you can drink whenever after giving birth, just make sure you wait the recommended amount of time after drinking before breastfeeding (2 hours for an 8oz glass, longer if you drink more).

7 days after I had had my lo cause she was born the day before my birthday so I spent my birthday in the hospital so my husband took me to dinner and I had a glass of wine and I was breastfeeding at the time too this the one glass so that when we got home I could feed her and it would be out of my system

Honestly, I didn't have a drink 2 months! Lmao! I just was already super tired and dealing with the trials and tribulations of colic, that a drink would have probably been just as powerful as a damn tranq pill! 😂
