it's so weird
Being with your friend one day and she brings up how her and her husband have decided it's time to try for a baby. And you talk about what the baby would like like, boy or girl, names. Who the baby would resemble.
And then she tells you she's pregnant and you both cry and rejoice you shop for baby clothes with her, join her baby shower.
And then the baby is here, almost exactly how you pictured them when just a few months before they were a conversation.
It's weird how this whole little person was once just a thought and is now here smiling at you with a little gummy smile. It's almost if they were always here just waiting to exist.
Life is a weird thing I tell you. Everything goes so fast. I was just at her wedding watching her walk down the isle. Sorry, my mind thinks weird thoughts lol. * I am a lot younger than her and my baby making days are far in the future.
