help? SMEP

Question

We lost our baby when I was 17 weeks preg. I had a d&e so I have no clue if the glow ovulation is right or not but I plan to use opk to confirm

I want to use the SMEP as it was designed for women like us. Problem is I don't know how to follow it as it goes against what glow suggests and I don't want to miss anything 
The plan says to BD on CD8 which is 25th. Then every other day till you get a positive opk. You begin opk testing on CD10 which is the 27th for me. Once you get a positive you BD every day for the next three days then skip a day then BD one more time.

Glow says my best chance to conceive is the 31st. But that my fertile window starts on CD9

If you are still reading and I haven't confused you. When would you BD and test with opk kits??

Hi Jenn!! I will be using SMEP this month too....with this plan you have to ignore GLOW's predictions. SMEP was done for woman like us. Good luck honey!! Hope we will have our rainbows soon.

pretty sure if you're doing Sperm meets egg you would ignore the GLOW prediction and go with their recommendation - exactly like you described - you'd have intercourse every other day starting CD8, then start using OPK testing CD10, once you get a positive on an OPK you BD for 3 days, skip a day and then BD one more day. If no positive OPK just keep BD every other day. An OPK is a better measure of you being fertile than the GLOW prediction, especially since Sperm meets egg is meant for ladies who may have off ovulation given miscarriage or irregular cycles.
