Prenatal baby heart rate monitor (doppler??)

Question

I think they're typically called a doppler but I'm not sure. Has anyone used one who can give me a good recommendation for one to buy? After having a miscarriage last fall, I worry everyday between appointments so some peace of mind would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

I just ordered one. It seems like the Sonoline B is very popular for the girls on here so that's what I got. Get's here in three days. I'll let you know how it goes.

I use sonoline B. I got it a few days ago and I heard baby on 2 of 3 tries- 10w6d and again today at 11w2d! My baby is super wiggly and we can only hear it for a minute or less before they move!

I bought an Edan doppler. I was a little on the pricey side at $135 but I guess at the moment I thought that the more expensive the machine the better it would work. 😕 Anyway I used it at 8 weeks exactly and found the heartbeat for about 4 days in a row. Then suddenly I couldt find it. I was so freaked out and depressed. Good thing I had a doc appointment 2 days later where they did an ultrasound and baby was fine. I didnt use it for a good 3 weeks. I just recently used it again and I dont have any trouble finding the hearbeat. It take all of 2 min to find it but I kinda already know where my baby likes to hang out. Its just a matter of getting the hang of it.

We just ordered a Wusic brand heart rate monitor from amazon for about 50 bucks. It came in less than a day. We love it!

I have the sonoline b and love it just type it into Youtube and it will help you distinguish noises but keep the mindset that it might not be easy to find hb due to position and you should be fine
