Will my baby ever fall asleep??

In order for my nearly 5 month old to fall asleep she must be bounced on an exercise ball really fast. Like wtf!!! I can't even just rock her to sleep. It has to be bouncing. And she fights it SOOO hard like squirms and screams until she passes out. It's exhausting. Idk what to do anymore I can't keep bouncing on the ball for the rest of my life. I've tried putting her down drowsy but not asleep and she wakes up immediately and cries. Tried white noise, swaddling, etc., she still needs to be bounced. :-(
