In your experience, is it more of a dating app or for hookups?

It's either, really. You'll see a lot of profiles (even guys) that say they aren't looking for hookups. A lot of people on there are, but it's not hard to find someone actually down to date. Been dating my bf for a year and he was my first and only tinder date.

My boyfriend and I met through there and just celebrated 2 years together! Really depends on the guy. Some may grow into relationships others def just want to hook up.

When tinder was really popular and somewhat still new, 2014-2015 I met plenty of guys and had brief casual short term dating with them. Never met a true love or anything serious, and I never want to use tinder again.

I actually met my boyfriend on tinder and we've been together for almost 2 years.

He lived 45 minutes away, but turns out we had a few mutual friends already, and he lived right across the street from the camp I've spent every summer at since I was six! I still feel kinda embarrassed when I tell people how we met but oh well. 😂

That's just my experience- the majority of people on tinder are just looking for hookups, I'd say, but there absolutely are people looking for relationships too. You just gotta take the iniative to start a convo. If anything, it's worth a shot!

I use tinder for hookups and I basically have that stated in my bio. I originally got it as a joke but I've had some pretty good times. Everyone's looking for something different on there so don't be afraid to just try it out. (I'm in college if that matters)
