No prostitution should not become legal, because it would increase the demand for sex, which creates a market that demands supply for sex trafficking and prostitution for sex services. This demand for sexual services creates a "profit motive" that encourages individuals, including traffickers, to provide commercial sexual services, that increases the supply and demand feature of sex trafficking and prostitution. When prostitution increases so does sex trafficking.

Not to mention you would need a special commission, more officers, and more regulations on all businesses that would engage in this. In addition, the supply-and-demand market for sex services has increased sex trafficking in countries that regulate prostitution and has increased the demand for child prostitution "by 11,000 in the Netherlands".

Yes, of course it should be. It should be legal, taxed, and regulated. People will be prostitutes whether it's legal or not. Prostitute or not, everyone deserves to be safe. Legalizing it will make it much safer for them.

Absolutely, for any reason, if that is the profession they chose, they need protection, regulations and they need to pay taxes.

Here's the thing. I get sex trafficking and child trafficking are liked to prostitution ALOT! However, sex work is one of the OLDEST professions. I feel like when it's regulated and each worker is mandated to test, pay tax, and ONLY work out of a "place of business" for instance brothel, parlor, or whatever location you register.

It would ELIMINATE the irrational need for a "pimp", it would protect the providers (most of all) and the clients. As of right now it's RARE that the police actually catch a child trafficker during an actual sting operation, majority of the time they are busting independent providers and "willing" providers with pimps, some will snitch on the "pimp" to avoid jail time even though they literally "chose up"( wanted to be pimped) so really, with a regulated area or place of business for these providers to work out of can eliminate the need for a "pimp" which would most likely be the one "in charge" of sex/child trafficking

If they're gonna change the law, they should have people who have been in the "business" running the sting operations to ensure most of the grounds are covered, it would also open up the job market for non providers in a sense there would need to be more people to enforce regulations for "protection/regulating prostitution locations".
