Nursing Majors & RNs
I'm not sure if this is where to post..
I am currently in my 4th year of teaching (special ed), I have a BS in early childhood education p-4 and am endorseded for special ed p-4 & 4-12. I have been considering going back to school to get a nursing degree. I lack 3 science classes prior to being ready for actual nursing courses (for RN instead of LPN). I've been doing a lot of searching for programs in my area but before I actually call and meet with advisors, I really wanted to hear from people currently working towards a nursing degree or who already have it. I would really love any input on schooling, the nclex, and where you work. Well Input on anything really.
I wasn't someone who knew my whole life what I wanted "to be when I grew up." And I just am not getting any satisfaction from my job now, I don't hate it, but I can't say that I love it either. Nursing is something that has been weighing on my mind a lot lately and I know it would be a huge commitment, not just something on a whim. Anyway, id love to hear from anyone willing to share. Thanks 🙂
