bedroom problems

Every time we try to use a condom my boyfriend goes flaccid right away. We've tried foreplay for at least 30 minutes before trying to put one on. We tried sheep skin condoms, ribbed, and regular with no such luck. He's telling me to just go on birth control, but I've tried two different brands of the pill, the shot, and the arm implant. I went off of them though because I had a heavy period every single day for 8+ months. I ended up being diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia because of it. Should I just bring up for him to see a doctor? I have an appointment for birth control this week, but I'm not too happy about it. It's either I go on birth control or go eithout sex. He expects me to give him a bj when I don't even receive anything out of it.
