My guy told me about IUD, that I should consider it an option for birth control. I read about it, seems scary. Anyone with experience with it here? Mind telling me more about it? Thank you!

My best friend had it for a few months and she says it was the worst experience of her life. She basically bled constantly and had the worst cramps ever. She had to get it taken out.
