bacterial vaginosis

So recently I was experiencing a lot of Pain around my right ovary and figured I had a cyst, because I have had them before. I went to the doctor and I don't have a cyst but I do have bacterial vaginosis. Has anyone that has had bacterial vaginosis ever had pelvic pain with it? The pain has been going on for 3 weeks now.
