Is Plan B more effective because it is the #1 OBGYN recommended brand? Or are other slightly cheaper levonorgestrel EC pills like Take Action equally effective?

No, they are the same hormone one is name brand one is generic just like any other drug. Brand names cost more that's all

Plan b was technically the generic but it became so mainstream. Ella is fine too & actually works for the full 5 days unlike plan b which you actually can take up to 5 days after but after the 3rd day it lessens
