scared to breast feed
My boy is now 6 weeks old and breaat feeding has been the hardest task of all! Today my right nipple is soo cracked and sore that it is literally unbearable to feed him on it. This has happened because he's not latched on properly, something he has always struggled with on this side. So today I've only expressed from this side and fed only from the left side. I know it's only going to be a matter of time until the right side becomes lumpy and sore so il have to feed him on that side but the thought of that literally petrifies me as it's been so painful.
I've looked up the flipple technique so will try that but worried that because it's now night time that either or both me and him will end up upset and frustrated because it's too painful or I won't be able to get him to latch on properly.
Please help, I'm a emotional first time mum with a nipple which is literally about to fall off!
