instigating sex

I'm always the one instigating sex in my relationship and hes the one turning me down many of those times. I could have sex many times a week but I hate bringing it up cuz it never happens. The only time he seems interested is when we are ttc. I don't know how to help this situation. I like being with him and having our life together but I feel hurt and not wanted when it comes to intimacy. I crave it. Anyone ever gone through this? What helped?
