My 3.5 month old baby cried until she lost her voice

I was at my parent's house for lunch. After lunch my mom asked if I could pick up something from the hardware store. The hardware store is 10 minutes from their house. I was gone for maybe 30 minutes in total. When I got back I could hear her crying before I entered into the house. Her cries were not normal. It was like little hoarse squeaks. She had cried so hard she lost her voice. My mom told me about 5 minutes after I left my baby started crying. She tried her best to console her but my baby kept getting more and more worked up. I feel so bad for my baby. When I was putting her down for the night she had the saddest squeaky cry. Is there anything I can do for her?
