37 weeks.. what sort of discharge is this? Mucus Plug???

From 36 weeks and 5 days I have been getting tightening pains on and off. Went back to the hospital and was admitted for observation. Now 37 weeks and the tightenings are irregular and not as strong. And this morning I got this discharge..is it the mucus plug? Is labour soon for me?? Need some input please...

This is part of the plug, since it's not tinged with any other color it could grow back. Once there's brown,pink or red that's when u go to L&D to be checked out. With dd my plug came out "bloody show" to say the least, and I was 4cm contractions 2-10mins apart got sent home being told it could be wks not to go back 4hrs later due to closer contractions and water broke 15mind after being admitted and I got told "we should've just kept you" ya think?! Lol GL

Mine looks like this but it is a lot heavier, been like this for weeks but nothing yet.. I'm 38 +2

My doctor says this is normal in the third trimester, been getting it off and in since 28 weeks. mucus plug will present with blood new or old and brown.

The mucus plug when it really starts coming out will be tinged with brown, but that may be the start of it!
