Infant Optix DXR-8 Baby Monitor

Originally, I wanted one that had an app for cell phones as well so my hubby could see our baby when he's at work, but now with the whole Alexa criminal case (knowing that pretty much any smart device can turn on the camera or listen at any moment) I'm a little worried about someone being able to hack into my baby monitor app on my cell phone. I know I'm paranoid😕 Does anyone have a different monitor they'd recommend, or do you think this is my best bet? I'm even open to monitors with cell phone capabilities if you have one and love it. I'd like to keep the cost below $250. Any comments are welcome!
