still bleeding? (no pics but tmi)

Question

I'm 11 weeks PP this week after a csection (first baby) and I'm still HEAVILY bleeding.....
It's super annoying, but is it normal? Should I schedule an appointment with my OB?
I'm on the pill (have been for a month tomorrow) and that hasn't done anything to the bleeding. I also never had milk come in so I didn't get to breast feed aside from pumping for a few weeks hoping it'd one day come in with no resolution.
I'm seriously overflowing maxipads every like... 4-5 hours.
I'm sorry if that's a disgusting thing to write, I'm just not really sure of what to do??

Absolutely call your OB! It's not normal to be bleeding that heavy for 11 weeks!

Call your doctor! I had retained placenta and was bleeding for like 10+ weeks.

I stop for maybe 2 weeks than started again 😒 my body is so out of wack

I bled heavy until it just stopped at 12 weeks.  I would call your OB about it. I bled heavy for 3 days. It went to just spotting then came back medium flow about a week later. 4 weeks post partum I hemorrhaged and started passing huge clots. My OB scheduled an emergency visit after I refused to go back to the ER after waiting there for 10 hours to be seen a couple weeks prior. She could not find the cause of the bleeding, but it started slowing down while in the office. Since I was still bleeding at my six week post partum visit I was sent for an advanced ultrasound to see if there was any placenta left behind. The ultrasound was inconclusive so my doctor did a hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy which came back negative. My doctor then said she felt it was normal for me. It stopped about a week later

CALL YOUR OB IMMEDIATELY, please!! This is super serious. I had the same symptoms and one day while out running errands 4 weeks post c section, I started hemorrhaging blood and had to be taken to the ER by ambulance after passing out in the garage with the baby in the car. I had a D&C that night followed by a uterine embolism to stop blood flow to my uterus as I was still bleeding. Fast forward to now, 8 weeks post c section, and i have never stopped bleeding. I had my second D&C today which went well. I am severely anemic and sick from all the blood loss, plus have had cramps that feel more painful than childbirth contractions. Don't let yours go unchecked!!!

I'm 9 weeks pp and bled the first 5 weeks. Stopped for about a week and then started my first period (and birth control pills). Bled for 2 more weeks heavily then stopped a few days before my next "period" week on the pill. I also had a uterine infection that took three rounds of antibiotics to kick between week 2 and 5 pp. It's worth checking with your doctor. I had to call mine for lower abdominal tenderness that grew to pain so I saw her about 5 times until 6 wks pp.

I'm exactly the same but my baby is 12 weeks old. I went to see my doctor this week who gave me a swab to see if u had an infection & also a blood test to see if I'm anemic & also a pregnancy test, I'm waiting on results but she thinks it's because I'm on the mini pill & it's my hormones so try not to worry to much x

You've been like this for 11 weeks? If so, I'd definitely call your OB. I only bled heavily the first two or three days, after that I just spotted until week 5 and then it stopped completely... I know every body is different but heavy bleeding for 11 weeks does not sound right. (I'm 9 weeks pp btw)
