Will I ever find a guy who gives me butterflies?

I've been in a few relationships but none who actually swept me off my feet and gave me butterflies. I'm worried I may not find the one 😪

Well I'm on the fence about this. I don't truly agree with feeling butterflies in your stomach. With my ex's, I always feel butterflies and deep in love yet I'm always getting hurt. I think sometimes it is associated with lust/infatuation. I've always been dating as*holes and cheaters because I enjoy "chasing" which in turns give me those butterflies feeling. One day my mom told me that in a long lasting marriage, you don't often feel butterflies (you feel them sometimes when he does something nice etc) but that butterfly feeling would turn into another kind of love, the kind of love you feel for your family. She told me that I should feel safe and secure with my guy instead. I never once understood what she said till I met my current partner. In the beginning I wasn't head over heels for him and I felt like "should I give it a chance? He's a nice guy" and it took me a long time to be treated right (I was so used to be taken for granted/abused). I am so glad that I took my mom advice and gave him a chance. I'm falling in love more and more with him as days goes by. I don't feel butterflies but I feel trust, secure & safe in this relationship. Something I never knew I wanted! We have a perfect relationship (of course we still have fights). Don't worry about it but remember sometimes you gonna give someone a chance, never know what you'll get in life!

It's so amazing when you find it though. I was with someone for nearly 3 years and the butterflies and nervousness was only throughout the honeymoon stage.

I've now been with someone for over a year and every time I get that, "I'm outside" text message I still get the butterflies and nervousness. Or the build up walking up his driveway, opening the front door and opening the curtain to see him on the lounge. I try to hide my ear splitting grin every time but always fail. I think it's amazing I still feel this giddy and excited whenever I'm moments away from seeing him.
