Throat closing up?

These past 2 days my throat has been starting to hurt every time I swallow something it feels like its swollen and its closing up today its really bad any ideas on what to do? I called my Dr he says its normal but I'm not so sure about that should I check into a hospital or what?

I'm surprised that your doctor brushed you off like that. I don't think I've ever heard that something like that is "normal." I wish I could help figure out what it is, but I definitely think you should get a second opinion!

Are you allergic to somthing you might be eating?? Or anything that's around you that your not used to.
