31 Weeks and feeling pressure!?

Question

I'm 31 weeks today. I was carrying high until week 29 and then there was a significant drop.  Today I am feeling major pressure in my vaginal/perineal area.  I feel like it's too early for this!  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Does it mean I'll go into labor early?

Yes has been happening for me since 27 weeks. So uncomfortable but can't be changed. It happened with my first pregnancy around 31 weeks because she was head down and starting to engage. I also get something I call lightening crotch which is fun 🙈

I've had a lot of pressure on my vagina for weeks now. It started off just being when I would squat down, but now I get "lightning crotch" or "fanny daggers" as they call it. Seems to be normal from what I've read. Just means baby is growing and stretching out.
