Homeless With 1yr old & Newborn

In the last two months I have had a world full of things that go wrong. I was living with my mom in Ohio. The day I got out the hospital having my youngest daughter (Feb 2nd), I found out she was being evicted. 😱 things couldn't be worse. Me and my fiancé had to hurry and find a storage to put our girls stuff in. Cribs clothes toys like everything we own. And so we did. Then we stayed for a month and a half at the Days Inn hotel (paid for by someone else). We were homeless and my mother moved in with her boyfriend. Me and my fiancé were devastated. We were homeless. No where to go. That night we paid for us two days at the hotel back in MI where we are from originally. Then a few of my friends helped us with the one month stay. No shelters would take us unless we split up from their dad. And we didn't want that. We were also turned away by churches who said we "weren't in a dire situation" meaning we didn't need the help. We were out of options around the third week. We had no more money for rooms. No more money for anything. A car. A one year old. And a newborn ! I could've just broke down but I had to keep it together. When it came to the day where we knew we had no where to sleep but the car we knew we couldn't do that. I used my last resort. My uncle whom I haven't talked to in almost 8 years. Him and his wife took us in. They We were able to get in contact with a woman that helps with housing. Within one week we had a home. A three bedroom town home. I feel so blessed. We didn't loose our things. We have two beautiful girls and most importantly a home to call ours. I feel very blessed. And I am so thankful to my uncle and his wife for helping us. I still talk to my mom. She has her problems but I love her no matter what. I won't make the mistake again living with her. Now I have a few job interviews. And two more semesters before I graduate college. My girls are safe & so are we. My fiancé was great through this whole thing. He took care of his family the way he is supposed to. I love him to death. For those of you that find situations impossible, hang in there. Keep your head up and never give in ! You can do it. This is my family. 😘😍 Isabella is one and Aamiyah is one month old.
