Taking a bath during your period?

I'm debating on taking a bath tonight while I'm on my period.. Is it okay to do it without a tampon or is that dirty? What do other people do?

your blood flow doesn't stop, no matter what SOME may think...... when you take a bath on your period your blood does leak into the water as normal, but you might not be able to see it because of the amount of water vs blood... however this is in no way disgusting or gross , it's part of your body, so you can bathe however you feel comfortable!

For me, my blood flow stops when I take a bath. There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking a bath without a tampon!
