concern ?????

My daughter is 9Months old . She been having a cough , running nose , and mucus congestion for over a month . First time I took her to her doctor they gave her certizine other times I have took her in the don't give her anything . What can it be ? Or what can I give her over the counter ?

I would bring her to. ENT ( ears nose and throat) doctor. It's not normal to have that for over a month. They specialize in allergies or sinus infections what ever is may be.

Could be allergies or a virus. I'm not a dr but my daughter had an upper respiratory infection for 15-16 days and they wouldn't give her a thing. I looked up home remedies online and cut an onion in half and kept it away from her in the room and it really helped dry some of her congestion up and I used the cough medicine in the brown bottle down the baby isle and that helped too and I used the syringe everytime she needed it I got the most out when she sneezed and put her in the bathroom with steam for a couple minutes to help and a cool mist humidifier helped and the Vicks pads that go in it-the instructions mine had said it was safe to use around infants. And just switched between tylenol and Motrin. That's how I got through it.

Maybe it's environmental allergies? I'd go back to the doctors since it's been a month now.
