I'm getting an IUD in 2 weeks and I have the choice between Paragard and Mirena. I've been on 3 different birth controls, but I end up having bad side effects from them. I'm a bit nervous about mirena because of the hormones, but I've heard that paragard causes horrible pain and periods. I don't know which is better. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
