Earlier C-section?

My C-section is booked for April 19, I will be 39 weeks 4 days then. I really want my OB to move the date up (just by a week)! :(

Has anyone here had their date moved up for reasons other than GD/preeclampsia?

I'm scheduled for repeat csection at 39 weeks on April 18th. I'm asking my OB to move it up a week at my next appt. I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead, dilated to 2 over 90% effaced & miserable! I'm hoping my water brakes or contractions become regular in the next week

Moved up mine to 37 + 5 as she has stopped growing and is only measuring about 5lb

My doctor will not move it before 39 weeks unless there is a medical reason.

This baby is measuring 7 weeks ahead. My gallbladder went out and is causing all sorts of issues and the only way I could have baby earlier than 39 weeks was if I went into labor on my own!  Tuesday is almost here!!

I wanted mine 5 days earlier and my doctor  and my doctor said no need more time to grow im having her at 39 weeks too

I have gd but my insurance won't cover if we induce earlier than 39 weeks so my date is scheduled exactly at 39wks unless he comes on his own before Monday
