BV, or yeast infection

I have yellowish white discharge that I seem to get occasionally sometimes I can just be sitting down and what looks like cottage cheese is flowing out like gushing out if I sneeze Cough whatever. I don't think it's chlamydia I'm most certainly positive and I don't really want to assume I have it when it could be something more simple and I don't want to have to tell my mom about it and have to tell her that I have done things before. Has anyone ever had this and it just been something common or had it been more dangerous??
