I dont know any Leahs under the age of 20. It was common a long time ago but isnt anymore. I know a couple who are 20+ but thats it. Leah is a classic name and since everyone is fighting to be "unique" anymore, she would be the only Leah in her class.

I love the name Leah....my daughter is named Lia (same pronunciation) and is the Italian version. Phonetic spelling so easy for everyone to pronounce! We live in Holland!

For some reason many of the girl names I like would be shortened to Leah. For instance Aliyah. I like the long name but I'm not a fan of Leah because I've known two Leah's both of whom I didn't like lol. Before that I would have thought it's a perfect name though. It is really classy it's just I can't get those two girls out of my head when I hear the name. And my hubby wants to name baby Aliyah if it's a girl.
