do I need to eat yogurt while on antibiotics

I've been taking antibiotics for about 3 days in order to heal a UTI and everybody is telling me if I don't eat yogurt I'll get yeast infection I'm afraid. Is it true

I was on antibiotics for 7 months when dealing with tonsil issues. I got 2 yeast infections during that time. MAKE SURE TO EAT YOUR YOGURT. It's not worth it to risk a yeast infection

Personally I ALWAYS have problems with antibiotics. So I make sure to eat activia yogurt which usually helps me get back to normal. Activia is really good because it has some added probiotics!

i mean if you hate yoghurt or ur vegan or something i'm sure there are alternative ways to get the probiotics-- kombucha maybe? you could google it. but yes, i have always heard that yoghurt on antibiotics is a good way to prevent yourself from inadvertently obtaining a yeast infection. hope you feel better soon!! 💕
