#2 during delivery

Christina
I am absolutely terrified of going #2 during my delivery! Is this something that happens often?? I know that's not something to be worrying about during that time but I am kinda nervous about it happening with my MIL and husband in the room watching

I did it with my last two. Trust me it's absolutely normal. I cried and apologized over and over while the nurses and doctor didn't even mind

Idk if I did. I'm sure I did. Idc though really lol. Last thing on my mind was pooping myself. Medical staff have seen it all. The thing I can't do is poop with my SO around.

Trust me when your pushing and during contractions you won't even care or notice. I only knew I pooped cause I heard the nurses say ohhh and quickly clean it then I froze and got embarrassed. So I kinda stopped pushing a bit and my doc said hurry baby can't be in that position for too long! And I freaked out and I pushed like I never pushed in my life loll. Don't worry they've seen it all you'll be in too much pain  cause you basically have to push from your butt.

My body naturally didn't want to poop for a day or two before birth when labor started and I needed lots of prune juice and a stool softener to go poop like 2 days after birth. Before labor though I had diarrhea. Your body naturally wants to rid waste to make room for baby. The nurse said they clean it up all the time during birth though and most of the time you won't even know Because they're so quick and discrete about cleaning it up.

I did it and hubby was right there and didn't notice he was focused on baby is coming.

Yes it's very common but you probably won't even realized it happened and the drs are pretty good at getting it out of the way quickly

I've heard of it happening more often than not. It happened to me when I had my son, and of course it's embarrassing to us, the nursing staff are super professional about it! It was done and gone before anyone knew what happened. Like my friends have said, you know you're pushing right ☺️

I think it's fairly common. But I honestly don't give two shits (pun intended) if I poop everywhere. I'm more worried if I'll have to be induced, or have a placental abruption and my baby doesn't make it, or if I have to have another c section.
