what age is good to let daughter start shaving.

My daughter is 9 yrs old going to be 10 in May and she is starting to get dark hair on her legs and under her armpits, at what age did you let your girl start shaving. I can't remember when I did, I'm just so afraid that she will get teased about having hairy legs and armpits.

Let her bring it up. I began shaving at 10 and honestly at 10 years old why bother? You're a child. Let them be children. Shaving just shows them that they have to uphold to some standard which is not true. I was made to believe that I HAD to shave otherwise I was just gross. All through my teen years I shaved everything all the time. Now that I'm an adult it's nowhere near as important. Sorry for my rant. I just wish my aunts just let me be a kid when it came to shaving.

I let my daughter at 9, she's biracial and has very light skin, the hair on her arms and legs is dark so it's very noticeable and it grows long. she started to get teased in school so I let her use nair.

My parents made me wait til I was 13 but that was in the 90s. Lol. Kids are much more advanced today so I'm not sure!
