My fiancé and I are getting married in July and we talk about kids often. If we had the finances and had gotten together sooner (good friends for 7 years before actually dating!) we probably would already have had a child or two. He and I agree that we don't want to try for a baby by August- we'd like to buy a house this time next year. But I've been on the pill for the past 10 years so I'm not sure if it will take time for my body to "readjust" and regulate. Is there a recommended timing to stopping birth control and starting trying to conceive? I'm a planner and work in education so ideally we could have some semblance of control but I know that is not always the case! Thanks!!!
