There's nothing wrong with drinking alone. You can be an alcoholic and have bad habits alone or with groups of people. I love a beer on a stressful day! It only turns into a problem if you're drinking everyday to just handle daily stress.

I don't see what's wrong with drinking alone unless someone has behavioral problems or someone is planning on going hot tubbing or swimming while drunk. I'm more of a social drinker when I did drink so I would never do it.

I don't see anything wrong with a glass of wine or champagne at home alone. I don't make it a daily thing, but I definitely did it when I wasn't pregnant. My husband doesn't drink so, it's only ever just me when I'm at home. I would never go to a bar or restaurant and drink alone. I think it gives off the wrong message.
