Shannon Violet-Agnes will become 10 weeks old tomorrow, Sunday, 02 April 2017. The last 10 weeks have come to end up laying the structure and basis for the rest of my life and I have to say, aside from when my daughter cries with pains from her recently diagnosed GERD, my new life with my role as Mother hasn't been all too bad, regardless of me being the sole caregiver to my daughter and that also means no siblings of my own to help, obviously no partner, no friends and no family. I do get a give-or-take 30 minute separation from Shannon maybe 1x a night when I'm sent out to pick something up for dinner for my mom and niece, but other than that, it's just Shannon and I 24/7. When I imagine our lives being any other way, I think another person being involved might be nice simply for me to have someone to talk to, but I'm certainly A-OK being the sole person caring for my daughter. It can be hard, but it's been more rewarding being a new Mom than anything else :-)
