Family + Easter + Newborn= good or bad idea?

Question

So April 16th "EASTER!🐰" is around the corner and our family usually gets together for Easter at my mother in laws house.. there are 20 of us all together and all have received the TDAP shot.. now baby logan is due any day now between now and April 11th so we decided to have everyone over to our new home to celebrate and then we dont have to travel with a newborn.. is it a bad idea to have this many people around the newborn or should it all be okay since weve all gotten the shots together to be around the baby.. good idea or bad idea??!!?? Help appreciated 🐰

Glad everyone's had their gasp, vet responsible, but that is a lot of germs to be inviting g into your house that will touch everything, especially the baby. You'll not only have to clean your house to get ready for Easter, you'll have to clean the next day to get rid of their germs. If chlorox everything!
Not to mention what s previous person said, hosting just days after giving birth is a bad idea. Sounds like this is your first, otherwise you'd know that you can barely move for upwards of 2 weeks after having a baby. Your vagina and hips are all screwed up and tender. 
Ask someone else to host and let them know if you feel up to it, you'll stop by.

Honestly sounds exhausting to me lol. But if you are feeling up to it that soon after birth and if baby doesn't get overwhelmed with so many people and noise etc I say go for it. As long as nobody is sick!!

If they've all had shots and nobody is feeling sick, then there's no reason why not. I'd make a rule that they need to wash their hands and can't kiss the baby on the face, just to be on the safe side.
 Besides that, it's up to you and if you feel like you can handle having that many people around you and the baby that soon.

I would just make it clear that if anyone even has a sniffle to please stay home because baby is so little and I'm sure they'd understand. If you're up for it. That's up to you

Honestly if YOU feel up to hosting? It's family so u will have a lot of help , there all gonna wanna see baby also you said they aren't sick and I mean why not?? A week to two weeks old is when I've seen a lot of woman saying they are going to start letting family come around so I say go for it ....  but that's me personally.....    if u think you feel up to it enjoy ur family

I think it depends on your personality type and how you are feeling after giving birth! You may not be up to hosting 20 people at your house if your baby is only 6 days old or so. It might just be too much for a new mom if you know what I mean? However, as long as no one is sick (I know you can't always tell) and washes their hands before holding/ touching baby, I'm sure your little one will be fine!

I would plan to celebrate elsewhere, as you might have literally just gotten home from the hospital (or if you're even a few days late, you might still be there!!) But if you give birth soon, and are feeling up to it, then not a terrible idea if all family members are 100% healthy.

And if he comes later than April 11th then what? And who's going to do all the cooking & cleaning? You won't be able to. Have someone else host, stop by if your able, you family can always come & visit you

I personally would never expose my newborn to that many people so early. They are still developing their immune system and despite people being vaccinated and making sure no one is "sick" (which some might not feel sick yet but still be carrying bacteria and viruses), there are still so many germs coming into your house EVERYWHERE that will undoubtedly reach your baby no matter how hard you try to prevent it. Just my opinion.

Being around all the people wouldnt bother me but i definitely wouldnt be hosting i would take the newborn so much easier! Pack a bag with clothes and nappies take the pushchair for them to sleep in and thats it, i definitely wouldnt want to have the pressure of hosting for 20 people
