How many days after your missed period would you take a home pregnancy test?

I'm currently 2 days late for AF, been TTC for a year and am curious as to how long you guys wait to test. I'm hesitant to test because it's been so long of heart break when every month comes and I take a home pregnancy test with a BFN. Could use your advice💕

I'm 2 days late as well! And I really want to test but don't want to be disappointed. 
I think it's more disappointing to take a test and get a negative then it is to just get your period lol 😔

Girl I'm right there with you!! Same time trying and all. I'll be two days late tomorrow. Normally I'd have tested 100 times by now even before I was late. But I'm so scared. That feeling when you see that negative is awful. If af is still not here by the morning I'm going to test.

Ended up getting my period last night..I'm devastated, I really thought this was my month. 😢 what a sucky feeling.. I felt so sure that this was it.. hoping to hear some good news from the rest of you ladies💕

Just wanted to update you ladies and say Af showed up today. Didn't have a period at all in March and then now it decided to show up super heavy and painful 😔😞

I would wait about two weeks. I was a week late and took a handful of tests and all were negative. Was tired of feeling upset after each one and waited another week and got two faint lines :) im going to wait a good solid week again to get a good solid line

I made myself wait almost a week after AF was super light and weird. I didn't want to deal with the faint lines/line eyes bullshit. When I finally took it, it was darker than the test line and popped right up- no question about it!

I was a week late and kept testing. All i got was bfn. It can take up to two or more weeks after af is due to get a positive. Baby dust to you
