I got the mirena IUD almost 5 weeks ago. My fiancé and I had sex (no condom) two days ago on the last day of my period. Yesterday there was no blood or spotting but there is today. It's not old blood and it's not enough blood to be my period coming back. Could I be pregnant?

Answer

Not likely no. Your body is going to take some time to get used to the IUD. Unfortunately that means you may have a lot of spotting. I bled for two weeks straight when I first got it in. But once your body gets used to it, you may get a very short and light period or you may not have one at all. Hope this helps :)
