My last prenatal visit was last week. They gabe me a flyer to a baby shower for all expecting mothers in the neighborhood (which is big) at a Catholic Church nearby. I was a little nervous...okay big time nervous since I'm not social and I'm definitely not Catholic. I barely even claim a religion. So my support team came along with me.

Im having a boy ftm and he is pretty much all set furniture wise. But since im anti social, my baby shower will be a baby sprinkle and will consist of less than 15 people. So i was worried id get anything id really need for him.

Let me tell you how God has blessed me today... God told me to go to this baby shower and im glad He did. This church not only gave me amd many other expecting mothers over 15 items of clothes, a diaper bag of our choice (not cheap ones), plenty of diapers, wipes, but also blankets.

I was so shocked. I thought we would sit in a circle, have some snacks, and play some games and leave with a pack of diapers after getting lectured about God. This group of wonderful women not only tried to make us feel comfortable, but never said anything about religion, they just asked the gender and told us to pick whatever we wanted or needed. They had me fill out a form with my info and asked if i would like any info on classes or events for my baby which i happily accepted.

Im so happy i went, and couldnt be more thankful for this group of women that put this together. Im loving my new diaper bag and all of my sons new stuff!
