Were you nervous to tell your family that you were engaged?

So my SO and I have been engaged for about a month or so and we don't know how to tell our families. So it made me wonder how others announced it. Drop your story in the comments!

My husband asked my dad for my hand in marriage, and of course my dad said yes! So on our anniversary my husband proposed 😊😊 it was an epic surprise! He went all out so after we had our moment I facetimed everybody and shared the news!!

Typing this brought me to tears! We are celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary on the 8th!! God is so good and he has truly blessed me with the perfect man!

At first people didn't except me and my husband but I knew our love was real so I didn't let anybody come between us ! Good luck 😙💙💚💛💜

I met my Husband in January and on my birthday on February he took me to the beach. We watch the sun and while it set he proposed. When I got home I told my parents look and I showed them my ring lol

Honestly, our families already knew, and most of our friends did also. But to tell them in person anyway was a little nerve wracking and I have no idea why lol. I'd just tell them!! It's so exciting- don't keep the news to yourself! P.S. CONGRATS!! 🎉💍☺️

I was SOOOO NERVOUS to tell my mom... Our relationship went pretty fast. We'd been best friends for a while. I was trying to slowly ease my mom into the idea of us together. Then, kind of said screw it. Let's get married soon! So we had to tell everyone and plan things pretty quickly. 😂😍
