I gave birth on 3/31. Today is 4/2, I was just wondering how long did it take some moms to pass there first poop?? Also I had a 2 degree tearing and was wondering how bad will it hurt and what's some good methods to help cope with the pain??

Like 3 days later. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be 😂 i had a second degree tear also.

No BM for me until 5 days PP. Wasn't as scary as they said it would be!

Everyone is different. I also had a second degree tear and was really sore for the first week or so. I took asprin and Tylenol for the pain and used witch hazel on my stitches. You can soak a makeup pad in witch hazel and put them in the fridge and put them in your pad as necessary.

I had a c section on march 6th and didnt have my first bowl movement until about 6 days after, it didnt hurt like everyone said it would and i didnt take any stool softeners either i just took it slow and didnt push just let it come out

I had a bowel movement the same day but it was loose so it didn't hurt. The one after that caused discomfort in my perineal area. I'd recommend a stool softener.
For my 2nd degree tear, the only times I needed pain meds were after that poop 😅. When I had discomfort, I'd full the tub with a few inches of warm water and add some Epsom salts and sit in it for a while. I also sat on a donut pillow.

I went the next day I was so scared it would hurt but to my surprise it did not don't let days go by to the point you become constipated that might hurt try taking stool softeners or ginger root pills

Both my kids were born around 2pm and i was able to have a bowel movement later the same day. I didnt tear with either one so i cant help you with what to expect, sorry.
