12w4d and I noticed yesterday my gums were swelling a bit (it happened during my first pregnancy too but I don't remember it being nearly as bad). Today while eating breakfast, the entire left side of my mouth hurt when chewing. Any home remedies or advice to help bring the swelling down? I do brush twice daily and floss every night and I'm pretty sure my pregnancy Medicaid doesn't cover dental visits, but I will call tomorrow and double check.
