IUD insertion?

Hey just wanted to know for the women that have gotten the IUD does it really hurt when you first get it inserted ? I'm on the shot rn but I go back in June & I want to switch to the IUD but I'm scared 😅

It's not bad at all! It's a pinching feeling, almost. But it's over an done with in 30 seconds to a minute (if your gyno is as good as mine)! After that, I was a crampy for the rest of the day. Just make sure to take some pain killers half an about before you go in, and you'll be fine!

You should get a implant! I got Nexplanan and it's awesome! It definitely hurt for a week after they put it in, but now it doesn't bother me at all, and it's good for 3 years!
