There's this girl who is obsessively in love with my boyfriend. She texts him daily and frequently asks him out. She's even had her friends/family try to reach out to him to get him to go to dinner with her.

Now, I'm not really the jealous type and my boyfriend has been completely transparent about this situation and we even laugh about it. This has been going on since before we even started our relationship and I don't feel threatened at all. He shows me the texts, tells me whenever she asks, etc...

Here's what gets me though...

She KNOWS about me. And continues this behaviour daily. Perhaps even more aggressively now. Is it just me or is it horrendously disrespectful to try and steal the boyfriend of a pregnant woman. Should I be mad? Would you want your boyfriend to finally tell her to give it up? Whenever I start to seem annoyed about it, he's all like "oh she knows nothing will come of it, she's just friendly"

It's just the implication of it though. Like "I know you and him are expecting your first baby together and are deeply in love in your committed relationship but hey let me go for a ride". Like, what is this? Have you ever been in a similar situation? What do I do?!? 🙄

I'm sorry but my anger would be towards him and not her. I think it's disrespectful that he allows it to continue rather than putting her in her place and cutting her off from texting him and what not.

If he is TRULY committed to you then he should block her. He should block her number from his phone, block her on all social media and stop talking about her so much. The behavior he has about it is alarming even though he tells you everything.

I had a girl do that with my ex. Hence why he is my ex and enjoying his life with her (part of the time while he was enjoying his life with me🤷🏻‍♀️)
Why does he even have her number? Why doesnt he just ignore her?

Honestly my ex boyfriends ex would contact him all the time. He'd show me the texts and convinced me she was a psycho. Fast forward two years in our relationship we shared a cell phone plan and I had a bad gut feeling. I looked at his phone and him and his ex never stopped talking. He'd just delete what he said to her and make her seem like a nut and was after him. He'd always show me what she said and tried to prove he wasn't doing anything wrong. Not saying that's what your bf is doing but women don't typically throw themselves at a man who isn't somewhat flirting back.

If he's not willing to put a stop to it right now and make it clear to her that he's not interested, then he's making it clear to you that he is. He doesn't sound like he's respectful of your feelings if he downplays them either. Women hit on my hubby all of the time, mostly he doesn't even notice them but when he does he shuts them down immediately. Granted he's married, but in my book commitment is commitment.

You're more patient than me. I have issues when my SO doesn't put an end to that blatant lack of boundaries. If they don't respect your relationship as a friend, they aren't a good friend & have no place in your lives. Point blank if I had someone talking to me that way they would have been blocked in every way. They are loony.

Honestly he should have just blocked her. Why even let it continue? Maybe it's an ego boost for him but either way it's extremely disrespectful to your relationship for him to even allow it to happen at all.
