My almost six month old. Weighs 21lbs. Has silent reflux ( diagnosed at 6 weeks)and it has flared up really bad this past weekend.

He's been coughing and swallowing back down a lot. His Dr yold my husband last week that he was coughing for attention. Now he keeps comfort eating. Only wants to eat when he's sleeping. He only at 4 4oz bottles during the day yesterday. Its not a sleep association because he can and usually does put himself back to sleep. If he wakes up in the middle of the night.

All last night he would wake up with a coughing fit and swallowing stuff down and only drinking a little of a bottle would calm him. I tried rocking him, singing anything other than more milk.

I feel like his dr isn't listening. My son is on ranitidine for his reflux. Butbi feel like it isn't working anymore.

I'm going to take him in today and if his Dr tells me its just cause he's teething ill be mad. Thatd what he told my husband last week and of course my husband took my son and didn't ask about his reflux medicine.
