Im 7+5 weeks pregnant, went to doc today and the abdominal scan showed the fetal pole and sac size is 6w 4 days.. is this normal? Did anyone of you experience the same??

When i was 6 weeks 4 days and had my scan she said it measured 5 weeks 2 days. I went back in for scan at 8 weeks amd everything was right on track. Had another scan at 11 weeks 6 days and baby measured 12 weeks 2 days. At 12 weeks baby measured 12 weeks 3 days. When it is so small before "baby" the measurements can be quite off. Give it time and wait for your next scan

It's a dating scan which means the ultrasound tells you how far along you are more accurately than the lmp does.

I think that is definitely normal. Did you see a heartbeat?

Was this your first scan? If you have another one to compare, My babies were measuring 5 days behind (i know exactly my ov date) but every scan their crl growth was consistent with 1mm a day. So far they caught up to being 3 days behind. If it was your first scan, did you see the heartbeat on screen?
