No appetite after giving birth?

I gave birth a week and a few days ago and ever since then I have not had any appetite. No foods sound appealing and I don't get hungry. I'm forcing myself to eat, but it's kind of rough. I want to eat enough to breast feed well. Has anyone else experienced this before?

Me!! I suggest pushing yourself to do it though. I just didn't eat since I didn't feel like it and I ended up having a lot of blood sugar problems, weight loss and even fainted once. After that I started eating better, but I suggest not letting yourself get to that point. It's scary!

I'm thinking it's Normal. I didn't eat the first month after I had my baby, I just recently started eating again. I'm now almost 8 weeks PP

Yup 6 weeks pp, not only do I not have time to eat I don't want it. I'm down to pre pregnancy weight and having tummy problems because of it too

Yes. Ill be 6weeks post partum this Friday and I still have no desire to eat. In fact I barely eat and I'm exclusively pumping. Make sure you drink tons of water.

I was in the same boat luckily my mom sells Herbalife so I mostly just had shakes and small snacks, I was NOT in the mood for solids for a while I'm now 15 weeks pp some days I have to force feed myself and others I can't stop eating 😂

I had the same problem and my doctor told me about this shake , 21 grams of protein

I did with my first bf baby I would get the point of having low blood sugar I started snacking on almonds (I love almonds lol)  find something healthy that you can snack on and make sure you have at the very least one good meal
