Induced Birth Story

My little bean was four days over due when we finally went to be induced. We arrived to the hospital at 6pm where I was to be given cervidil till 6 am the following morning and then to start Pitocin. When I I arrived to the hospital I was disappointed to find out it was a male doctor on call. But sucked it up and allowed him to do his job. Cervidil sent me into labor at 430 am and once removed I was put on pitocin to kick it up even further. My water was broken at 11 am and By 330 pm contractions were so bad I was in tears. Still pain meds free at the time . I was stuck at 3 cm all day and By 730 pm my doctor begged me to get the epidural to at least get me to relax. They. Checked me one last time at 9 pm with no change what so ever. They called my doctor who told them I will need a csection . Within 25 minutes I was having a csection . I can't even describe how awful and scary the whole process was. Turns out the baby's head was in an awful position and she was stuck against my pelvic bone facing up.  But I would do it a million times over for this beautiful baby girl.  Alivia Joyce born 4/3/17 at 10:25 pm weighing 7lbs 8oz 20in.
